Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Management System/Wave Planner for our facility in Hagerstown, MD. The role focuses on coordinating WMS activities, managing dock schedules, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment across shifts.

The position requires 1-2 years of warehouse experience, familiarity with MS Office and WMS, and forklift experience. This is a Regular-Full time on-site role with competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting KPI goals for safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding appointments and load statuses.
• Coordinate workload distribution with Operations Supervisor and manage WMS on the floor.
• Collaborate with inventory and on-site staff to resolve order-related issues.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $23.45 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.50 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Schedule: Third Shift (D) Thursday-Saturday 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, every other Wednesday 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Requirements

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and upating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
