Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on roofing experience and familiarity with roofing materials.
• Experience organizing warehouse inventory and maintaining accurate records.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication required.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills for inventory records and logs.
• Current forklift operator certification or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Organize the warehouse and create an inventory system for materials.
• Track tools and equipment, ensure returns, and process unused material returns for credit.
• Prepare materials for next day’s roofing crews, coordinating with managers and operations.
• Load and unload materials using a forklift and deliver supplies to job sites.
• Deliver ladders for city inspections and retrieve them afterwards.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and coordinate fleet readiness.
• Identify practical improvements to storage, inventory accuracy, and daily workflow.

We are a GAF Master Elite, IB Roof Systems Tier 1, and CertainTeed ShingleMaster contractor serving residential, multifamily, and commercial customers across Los Angeles and Orange County from our Gardena shop. About the Role:

You keep the tools, materials, and vehicles ready so our roofing crews can get to work. This hands-on role combines warehouse organization, inventory tracking, vehicle maintenance records, and deliveries to job sites. You’ll coordinate with project managers and crews, prepare materials for the next day, track tool returns, and help build better systems for keeping daily operations running smoothly.

What you will do:

• Organize the warehouse and create an inventory system to track materials coming in and going out.
• Track tools and equipment, ensure they are returned after use, and process unused material returns for credit.
• Prepare materials and equipment for the next day’s roofing crews, coordinating with project managers and the operations team.
• Load and unload materials using a forklift; deliver supplies to job sites using company trucks and retrieve excess materials.
• Deliver ladders for city inspections and collect them afterward.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance logs, track service needs, and coordinate with operations to keep the fleet ready for use.
• Identify practical ways to improve storage, inventory accuracy, and daily workflow.
• Follow company safety procedures for warehouse work, material handling, forklift operation, driving, and job-site activities.
• Represent the company with a reliable, professional attitude and communicate clearly with crews, managers, and customers.

What you bring:

• At least 1–2 years of hands-on roofing experience and familiarity with roofing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Experience organizing warehouse inventory, tracking tools and materials, and maintaining accurate records.
• A hard-working, self-starting, reliable approach, strong attention to detail, and a professional customer-service manner.
• Availability to work full-time Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime and some Saturdays as business requires.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to drive company trucks to job sites throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.
• Current forklift operator certification or willingness to complete company-provided training and certification before operating a forklift.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills for maintaining inventory records and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

Schedule, Pay, and Benefits

• Full-time, non-exempt.
• $20 per hour, with overtime paid under California law.
• Five (5) days of paid vacation after one year of employment.
• 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.

Physical Requirements

• Safely lift and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, and carry materials during warehouse and job-site activities.
• Climb ladders as needed, using required safety equipment.
• Work in warehouse and outdoor environments, including areas with high noise levels.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites and operate a forklift after completing required training and certification.
