Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum six months experience operating a forklift in a high-efficiency environment.
• Forklift operator certification required.

Responsibilities

• Picking, pulling, building orders, palletizing products.

• Operating various material handling equipment safely.

Richmond Beverage Solutions has immediate job openings for fast-paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform a variety of tasks including picking, pulling, building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery. Operators are expected to work at any station or line assigned and operate various material handling equipment safely within a warehouse, cooler, freezer, or dock environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to perform basic math operations in all units of measure
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Ability to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with manual stacking of cases up to 6-8 high
• Ability to work in wet and cold environments (35-40°F)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and nut allergens (if working in ice cream plant)
• Minimum six months experience operating a forklift in a high-efficiency environment
• Forklift operator certification and ability to pass written and driving skills tests
