Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Warehouse/Commissary Worker to support secure facility operations. The role includes handling stock, processing commissary transactions, and maintaining inventories while coordinating inmate worker teams.

You will prepare reports, ensure sanitation and safety standards, and communicate with staff and inmates to uphold policy and procedure. Candidates must be 18+, with a valid license and experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of warehouse/commissary experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate hand truck, forklift and pallet jacks.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum age: 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and inventory stock and supplies.
• Process commissary sales transactions and data entry.
• Maintain up-to-date inventories of furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Prepare records and reports and maintain organized files.
• Communicate effectively with staff, inmates/residents, and visitors.
• Conduct counts and control access to equipment.
• Provide supervision for assigned inmates/residents and coordinate movement.
