IKEA is hiring for a warehouse role in the DC Operations with Sunday to Wednesday shifts from 5:00am to 3:30pm. The position involves picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storage with a focus on safe, efficient handling of goods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs/30 kg ergonomically.
• Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing of the goods. Contribute with ideas and inputs to the agreed goals of the action plan in the daily work.
• Effectively unload and handle inbound/outbound goods. Secure merchandise properly to allow for safe movement through the distribution center.
• Contribute to the overall warehouse operations goals setting, drive the implementation of local business plans/projects and analyze existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet seasonal fluctuation needs.
• Remove and properly document all damages found or caused on inbound/outbound merchandise.
• Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects assigned, where applicable.

What you'll be doing day to day
