Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred.
• 1 year or more forklift experience preferred.
• 1 year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Update area or shift metrics using the location's WMS system.
• Generate daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature.
• Perform floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Perform basic administrative tasks for area or shift; maintain filing systems and documents.
• Gather from and provide information to floor employees in area of support.
• Coordinate activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned depending on area supported or location specifics.
