Job summary

TDK-Lambda Americas Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Clerk (Temporary) in California to coordinate receiving, storage, and distribution of items for internal and external customers, including a 3PL environment.

The role provides varied duties from shipping to inventory control and forklift operation. The position is temporary with possible 3–6 months of assignment, and offers an hourly wage of $20.00–$22.00, with potential bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or at least 3 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non inventory shipments
• Perform cycle counts
• Interact with all levels of associates on a daily basis
• Work and communicate with outside vendors pertaining to Logistics
• Assist Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Clerk I in daily shipping routine and back up when either are out
• Use the LN system documents to select products to be shipped and distributed to packaging area
• Use LN system/Factory Track to find stock point locations, enter records as needed or instructed
• Compare information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of order
• Label receiving shipments
• Compile and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, and issued for Finished Goods
• Operate a forklift to move material
• Lift, carry, and pack material
• Locate and count material
• Inspect, accept, or reject material received; inform warehouse lead or supervisor of any discrepancy
• Mark identifying information on material

As a Warehouse Clerk (Temporary), you will plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments. This will be done in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements 3PL (third party logistics provider).

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WAREHOUSE CLERK (TEMPORARY)

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME ROLE, WITH AN ESTIMATED LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT OF 3-6 MONTHS, SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

SALARY RANGE

The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $20.00 and $22.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
