Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment in Oklahoma City is seeking a parts warehouse worker to receive and ship parts, and to load/unload shipments. You will operate a forklift to move items and verify shipments against bills of lading. You will keep bin locations updated, and maintain clean, organized shelves.

Collaboration with inventory and warranty staff is required. Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 2 years in heavy-duty truck parts or warehousing, plus ability to read/write

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with heavy duty truck parts, automotive parts, or retail warehousing.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Recognize the need for urgency in shipping parts, must pay attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Compares information such as counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, or other records.
• Determines best method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and coordinates with shipper to rectify discrepancies.
• Operates forklift or uses hand truck to move shipments to storage or work area.
• Updates bin locations when moving parts to different locations.
• Keeps shelves and stock bins clean and in proper order.
• Keeps warehouse swept and clean.
• Coordinates with warranty clerk for proper routing of warranty parts.
