Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment in Oklahoma City is seeking a parts warehouse associate to load and unload shipments and operate a forklift. You will verify incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure accurate bin locations.

You will work closely with inventory and warranty staff to route parts correctly and keep shelves clean. A high school diploma and at least two years in heavy-duty truck parts or warehousing are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years experience with heavy-duty truck parts or retail warehousing.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Recognize urgency in shipping parts; pay attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Compares information such as counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, or other records.
• Determines best method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and communicates with shipper to rectify discrepancies.
• Operates forklift truck or uses hand truck to move shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Keeps shelves and stock bins clean and in proper order; coordinates with inventory and warranty staff.
