Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping and receiving; move boxes and build pallets.
• Maintain a safe, clean warehouse and manage waste.
• Receive/unload deliveries and log shipments; obtain signatures.
• Scan and record all incoming packages in the system.
• Organize materials per warehouse layout and project specs.
• Label and weigh parcels for overnight and freight.
• Coordinate couriers and notify staff of arrivals.
• Ensure on-time order shipments and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control, Project, and Purchasing on RMAs.

Johnson Service Group is looking for a Warehouse Clerk for one of our Clients in Livermore, CA. This position is responsible for Shipping & Receiving - Box Moving, pallet building, inventory verification, computer system knowledge.Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and clean warehouse facility: breakdown boxes and control waste.Store shipping pallets and other warehouse materials and equipment.Follow procedures and inventory control processes; comply with safety policies.Receive and unload equipment deliveries.Scan and electronically log all incoming packages/shipments and obtain signatures upon delivery.Separate materials and store according to warehouse layout and project specifications.Weigh, and label overnight express and freight parcels.Recommend cost-effective shipping procedures to staff members.Call for couriers in response to staff requests and notify staff when incoming courier correspondence is received.Assure that orders are shipped on a timely basis and in accordance with project specifications and shipping and inventory control procedures.Ensure all documentation and data entry is complete before releasing the shipment.Work with Inventory Control, Project, and Purchasing teams to process RMA shipments in a timely and efficient manner.Ensure proper documentation and procedures are followed.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentRelevant warehouse experience.Proficient in Microsoft OfficeLead Experience a plusRate starting at $22.00/hr** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
