Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Clerk II to support warehouse operations at our site in Manassas, VA.

The role focuses on loading/unloading, accurate packaging and routing, and participating in Lean warehousing initiatives to improve efficiency. The position requires 2 years of warehouse experience, familiarity with material handling equipment and handheld scanners, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed.
• 2 years experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, etc.
• Ensure packaging, routing and systems work is completed quickly and accurately.
• Participate in and guide team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor.
• Complete tasks by following established procedures.
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner.
• Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.
