Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is hiring a Warehouse Clerk II for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm) in Locust Grove, GA. You will load/unload materials, operate material handling equipment, and use a handheld scanner to ensure accurate packing and routing.

A Lean warehousing approach helps the floor team stay efficient. Requirements include 2 years in a warehouse, WMS experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent; flexible schedule with possible overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime.
• 2 years experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, etc.
• Ensure packaging, routing and systems work is completed quickly and accurately
• Participate in and guide team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor
• Complete tasks by following established procedures
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner
• Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams
