Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Union City, GA is seeking a 2nd shift Clerk II to load/unload materials and support Lean warehousing on the floor. You will play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Required: 2 years warehouse experience, forklift operation, handheld scanner use and WMS experience; high school diploma or equivalent. We offer full health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, disability, and more.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner.
• 2 years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, etc.
• Ensure packaging, routing and systems work is completed quickly and accurately
• Participate in and guide team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor
• Complete tasks by following established procedures
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner
• Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams
