Job summary

DSV in Wichita, USA, is seeking a Warehouse Clerk for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 5am-1:30pm). You will ensure accurate receipt, inspection, handling and documentation of inventory in our warehouse facility, using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities include verifying part numbers and quantities against packing slips, inspecting for damage, and packing parts per procedures while maintaining inventory integrity and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Receipt, inspection and documentation of inventory in warehouse.
• Verify part numbers and quantities against packing slips.
• Screen for obvious damage on parts.
• Segregate damaged items per guidelines.
• Safely handle and package parts per procedures.
• Complete electronic transactions in WMS.

Responsibilities

• Work with team to keep warehouse clean, organized, and efficient.
• Assist in prepping parts for receipt and picking to fulfill orders.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts for accuracy.
• Manage dock area as Dock Hand to coordinate loading/unloading.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Verify incoming part numbers and quantities against documentation.
• Conduct visual inspections for damage or discrepancies.
• Pack parts safely to prevent damage during storage/transport.
