Typical shift is 1st shift, Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm with potential Saturday work; some busy periods may extend hours. Duties include clerical and warehouse tasks, reporting, and coordination with floor teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• 1+ year clerical or warehouse experience is preferred.
• 1+ year experience operating forklift equipment is preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) proficiency is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Use the location's WMS system to update area or shift metrics.
• Generate daily, weekly or monthly reports and summaries.
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Perform basic administrative tasks and maintain filing systems.
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in the area of support.
• Coordinate activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned depending on area supported.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm & some Saturdays may be required
• During busy season, could work 4:00am - 4:00pm

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
