Job summary

Ryder in Hazelwood, Missouri is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00am–2:00pm). The position pays $22.00 per hour with weekly pay and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

You will coordinate warehouse activities with clerks and suppliers, use the location’s WMS, and generate daily and weekly reports. Requirements: high school diploma, 1 year warehousing or clerical experience, and basic Microsoft Office skills; forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more warehousing or clerical experience preferred.
• 1 year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• 1 year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Using the location's WMS system updates area or shift metrics as needed.
• Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature.
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift. Maintains filing systems and documents.
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
• Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific.
