Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support inventory accuracy, order processing, and customer service. You will verify incoming shipments, assign locations, prepare will-call orders, and assist with dispatching drivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more.
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid driver license with insurability.
• Forklift training and certification within 90 days; operators must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all incoming shipments by matching counts to packing slips; enter packing slips into the system.
• Process and store incoming stock within 24 hours; ensure correct bin locations and proper barcodes.
• Assign locations and update the system for new parts; label and organize accordingly.
• Check in and process inter-branch shipments; generate picking lists for delivery.
• Pull customer orders and prepare for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow all safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins and keep parts and paperwork organized.
• Process junk cores by tagging, storing, and returning to vendors weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide accurate driving directions as needed.
• Process customer returns and ensure parts are resale-ready.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver when needed.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more as required by position
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Must complete company-provided forklift training and obtain certification within 90 days. All forklift operators must be at least 18 years old, as required by law.
