Position: Warehouse Clerk

Job Summary: EMCOR Services Scalise Industries has a need for a Warehouse Clerk in Lawrence, PA. The primary duties of this position consist of Warehouse clerk duties and driver duties as needed.

Warehouse Duties:

• Packs and loads material and equipment onto trucks for delivery.
• Receives incoming material from common carriers and company vehicles.
• Pulls material from the warehouse in a timely manner for job sites and other areas as required, using forklifts, pallet jacks and other related material handling equipment.
• Assists in unloading and loading trucks and other vehicles as required.
• Returns to stock material from job sites and other projects as required.
• Keeps the warehouse clean and material stored in an orderly manner.
• Adheres to all safety procedures and Company policies.
• Provide customer support in a courteous and professional manner.
• Actively participate in weekly warehouse meetings.
• Perform general Warehouse cleanup, painting such as painting and stenciling of gang boxes and other miscellaneous duties.

Driver Duties:

• Transport Tooling/Material/Equipment to and from specified locations using company trucks in a safe and timely manner. All vehicles are under 26,000 pounds.
• Drive various types of vehicles including pickups and service vans,
• Follow all safety protocols including wearing a hard hat on construction sites, gloves, and eye protection in work areas.
• Keep vehicles clean and free of dirt and debris.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Follow all company fleet and driver policies and procedures.
• Provide managers with signed paperwork from field deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in warehousing a plus.
• Ability to drive box vans and stake body trucks a plus.
• Acceptable driving record that meets company approved driver criteria.
• Must have or be able to pass DOT requirement for driving vehicles over 10,000 pounds.
• Experience operating forklifts a plus. The company will re-certify experienced candidates if hired.
• Physical demands of the position require the candidate to be able to periodically lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Warehouse facility. Warehouse vehicles and not taken home by the drivers.
• Must be able to work a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM work shift and work overtime as needed.
