Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Clerk in Las Cruces, NM. You will manage inventory, verify shipments, and maintain accurate records while delivering friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, shipping, returns processing, and acting as backup Parts Driver as needed. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift 25 pounds or more.
• Three months’ related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with insurability.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all shipments by matching counts to packing slips and log shortages or damages.
• Process and store incoming stock within 24 hours; barcode and file properly.
• Assign locations and update system for new parts; label and organize.
• Check in inter-branch shipments, generate picking lists, stage parts for delivery.
• Pull customer orders and prepare for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins and paperwork; process junk cores weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide driving directions as needed.
• Process customer returns and ensure resale condition.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver when needed.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.

Responsibilities:

• Process and store incoming stock within 24 hours, ensuring parts are placed in correct bin locations and properly barcoded.
• Assign locations and update the system for all new parts; label and organize accordingly.
• Check in and process inter-branch shipments, generate picking lists, and stage parts for delivery.
• Pull customer orders and prepare them for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow all safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins by keeping parts and paperwork properly organized.
• Process junk cores by tagging, storing, and returning them to vendors weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide accurate driving directions as needed.
• Process customer returns and ensure parts are in resale condition.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver when needed.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more as required by position
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.

• Must complete company-provided forklift training and obtain certification within 90 days. All forklift operators must be at least 18 years old, as required by law.
