Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, move, and distribute materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed.
  • Read and interpret warehouse documentation to determine material movement and shipping requirements.
  • Accurately record inventory transactions and material movements using warehouse computer systems.
  • Perform physical inventories and cycle counts while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Post materials received and issued, prepare shortage lists, and distribute inventory documentation as required.
  • Ensure materials are available on the assembly floor to support production and capital builds.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Inspect warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Utilize Oracle, ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft Office applications to support warehouse operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members regarding inventory, shipments, and material availability.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, wear required PPE, and participate in required safety training.
  • Perform additional warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Houston, Texas Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Warehouser to support warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, forklift operating experience, strong inventory management skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Duties
  • Receive, store, move, and distribute materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed.
  • Read and interpret warehouse documentation to determine material movement and shipping requirements.
  • Accurately record inventory transactions and material movements using warehouse computer systems.
  • Perform physical inventories and cycle counts while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Post materials received and issued, prepare shortage lists, and distribute inventory documentation as required.
  • Ensure materials are available on the assembly floor to support production and capital builds.
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, JIB cranes, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Utilize Oracle, ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft Office applications to support warehouse operations.

Requirements/Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience.
  • Experience working on the receiving side of warehouse operations.
  • Previous forklift operating experience required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle warehouse systems and handheld MSCA scanners preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP inventory systems.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to operate Class II and IV forklifts, including reach trucks, order pickers, and manlifts.
  • Experience operating overhead and JIB cranes is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and warehouse processes.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to work around moving machinery and heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work in loud warehouse environments.Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions in non-climate-controlled facilities.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and fall protection equipment when necessary.
  • Ability to work day shifts, overtime, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
