Ryder is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk Associate in Hagerstown, Maryland with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. You will support inbound/outbound processes, verify documents, and coordinate with inventory to maintain accuracy.

The role requires SAP/WMS experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Night shift schedule is Sunday–Tuesday 7:00 pm–7:00 am and every other Wednesday 7:00 pm–7:00 am; benefits start after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience with SAP and WMS.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Safety-sensitive position; may require equipment certification.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out.
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity as directed by warehouse and vendor assignments.
• Verify shipping/receiving documents; coordinate with inventory to resolve issues.
• Assist with appointment scheduling as needed.
• Update required reports on a timely basis.
• Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Additional Pay $1.00 per hour when assigned to night shift

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years or more experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to:
  • Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Multi-task, be highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Work independently and as a member of a team
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Excellent PC skills in MS Office (intermediate level)
• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge (intermediate level)
• Safety Sensitive Position. Non-Regulated Tech. Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified
