Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Clerk I to provide administrative support within the Distribution Center. You will generate daily incoming merchandise reports, manage documentation, and perform data entry to keep records up to date.

The role requires English fluency, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with potential weekends or shift variations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or 1–3 months related experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and spell in English; strong verbal and written communication.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily reports for incoming merchandise by category.
  • Maintain filing system for all retained documents and pull production reports.
  • Enter data to create or update records and distribute mail.
  • Complete tasks as directed by department managers and supervisors.
  • Support cross-functional teams within Distribution Center to improve workflow.

Job description

Shift Monday-Friday 3:30 pm -12:00 am

Summary: The Warehouse Clerk I will be assigned to the general Distribution Center team to provide administrative support by performing routine office or clerical support tasks according to well established company procedures. Will perform cross-functional duties within the Distribution Center to support the workflow and operation flow. With new process continue coordinate with process SA team and Receiving team daily for incoming merchandise to check daily volume.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide daily report for incoming merchandise by category
  • Provide QC failures/daily report
  • Provide chargeback and warning report
  • Keep in track weekly QC failure
  • Keep in track TOP samples
  • Provide up-to-date QC reports
  • Provide daily recaps
  • Deliverables
  • Maintain filing system for all retained documents
  • Pull various production reports
  • Perform data entry to create, update, or change records
  • Sort incoming mail and distribute to appropriate recipients
  • Complete tasks as required by the department manager/supervisors
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be well-organized and have the ability to multitask
  • Experience in a large-scale warehouse/distribution center environment preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include working weekends, graveyard shifts, holidays, etc.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 30 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Other Skills and Abilities: Must be fluent in English. Preferred bilingual in Spanish.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $18.00 *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
