Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Warehouse Clerk in Burbank to maintain a safe, organized warehouse and manage inbound and outbound shipments. You will unload deliveries, log packages, and ensure proper documentation for all shipments.

Ideal candidates pursue a college degree or are recent graduates with warehouse experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office; lead experience is a plus for advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders ship on time and in accordance with project specifications.

Job description

Johnson Service Group is looking for a Warehouse Clerk for one of our Clients in Burbank.

Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and clean warehouse facility: breakdown boxes and control waste. Store shipping pallets and other warehouse materials and equipment. Follow procedures and inventory control processes; comply with safety policies. Receive and unload equipment deliveries. Scan and electronically log all incoming packages/shipments and obtain signatures upon delivery. Separate materials and store according to warehouse layout and project specifications. Weigh, and label overnight express and freight parcels. Recommend cost-effective shipping procedures to staff members. Call for couriers in response to staff requests and notify staff when incoming courier correspondence is received. Assure that orders are shipped on a timely basis and in accordance with project specifications and shipping and inventory control procedures. Ensure all documentation and data entry is complete before releasing the shipment. Work with Inventory Control, Project, and Purchasing teams to process RMA shipments in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure proper documentation and procedures are followed.

Qualifications: Pursuing a college degree or recent graduates Relevant warehouse experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, tech savvy Lead Experience a plus contract to hire $20- 22/hr.
