Job summary

Formaspace in Austin, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support production by coordinating timely delivery of components for work orders and maintaining accurate inventory. The role may include forklift operation and keeping receiving and shipping areas clean and safe.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and at least 1 year of warehouse experience in manufacturing, with strong organizational and counting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of One (1) year warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, reading comprehension, and material tracking skills.
• Ability to learn with input or direction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with production for timely delivery of required components for work orders.
• Physical put-away of products into locations may require the use of a forklift or other equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, keeping receiving areas, shipping areas, aisles, and racks free of hazards or obstructions.
• Maintains accuracy of material inventory and locations, performing cycle counts as needed. Assists with performing an annual physical inventory.
• Identify any missing, lost, low stock, or damaged materials/consumables and submit purchase requests as needed
• Serve as a role model for coworkers and remain actively involved in developing the Formaspace culture. Participate in culture crew events and activities associated with building our culture. Perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications: Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the employee is exposed to temperature ranges from 65 to 95 degrees F as well as low and high humidity ranges. The employee may on occasion be exposed to any number of adverse shop elements/odors. Capable of wearing and inspecting all Personal Protective Equipment for all job assignments.
