Job summary

ICP Group in Andover, MA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to manage daily shipping operations at the Andover plant. Responsibilities include scheduling pickups, preparing dispatch paperwork, labeling, and coordinating with production and customer service.

The role requires forklift experience, WMS familiarity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Shift is Mon-Fri (some Saturdays) 8am–4:30pm with pay between $20.00 and $22.00 per hour.

ICP Is looking to hire a Shipping Clerk for our Andover, MA manufacturing plant. The shipping clerk is responsible for the entire shipping process at ICP Industrial. This includes scheduling LTL & TL pickups, customer appointments, dispatch paperwork, package preparation & carrier labels, real time communication with production, scheduling, and customer service.
Shift hours Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays) 8am to 4:30pm. Hourly pay $20.00 to $22.00, depending on exp.

Key Responsibilities

• Palletize and shrink wrap freight.
• Adhere address labels to freight.
• Attach SDS to freight.
• Verify Bill of Lading and Packing slip has correct product information.
• Schedule carriers to pick up.
• Notify supervisor of any product/label discrepancies.
• Communicate, coordinate and work with appropriate department heads.
• Ability to communicate with others on a timely basis.
• Received material in Syspro.
• Services and non-stock materials receiving in Syspro (MROs)
• dispatching, shipping of small UPS packages, and computer work.

Education, Experience and Skills Required

• High school diploma or GED with some office experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience with WMS (warehouse management system).
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimum instructions, adhere to prescribed routines and practices, maintain records, and to make reports requiring accuracy.
• Ability to work well with others, and to assist cooperatively and courteously.
• Skill in the application of modern office techniques and practices and the use and care of office machines and equipment.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to read and understand company policies, standard operating procedures and training materials.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable and change priorities and direction as needed.
• Must have a positive attitude towards work and have the ability to work as a member of a team.

• Compensation: 18.00 - $20.00/hr. Actual pay is dependent on candidates overall skills for the role.
