Job summary

Florcraft Carpet One is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to manage warehouse operations, inventory, and local deliveries. The role involves coordinating with staff, customers, vendors, and installers to ensure timely fulfillment of flooring orders.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs. Anchorage-based candidates or those in the region are preferred. Training on our computer system will be provided.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication.
• Able to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Anchorage-based or within region willing to commute as needed.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willing to learn our computer system.
• Warehouse or flooring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse operations and inventory.
• Interact with staff, customers, vendors, and installers.
• Receive and inspect incoming flooring materials.
• Schedule larger deliveries and coordinate with sales/installation teams.
• Perform light-duty driving and local deliveries.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with cycle counts and accurate inventory.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

• Warehouse Management
• Interacting with the staff, customers; including vendors, commercial and builder accounts, installers, etc.
• Inventory Management
• Receive and inspect incoming flooring materials.
• Schedule Larger Deliveriess
• Manage Pick ups and Small Deliveries
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Cut carpet and prepare flooring orders for installers and customers.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules with the sales/installation teams.
• Perform light-duty driving and local deliveries to job sites.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Ability to prioritize and time manage effectively
• Opportunity to take on additional training to increase pay rate
