Job summary

Nichiha USA is seeking a Warehouse Janitor to help maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across our Macon, GA facility. You will support a safe, organized environment for warehouse staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing floors and surfaces, removing trash, sweeping and mopping, dusting, stocking supplies, caring for equipment, and following PPE and safety guidelines while coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication and professional interaction with coworkers and supervisors.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the warehouse.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Sweep and mop warehouse floors, paying attention to high-traffic and spill-prone zones.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, shelves, and fixtures.
• Monitor and stock cleaning supplies; assist with receiving and storing supplies.
• Clean and maintain janitorial equipment; report malfunctions to supervision.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and priorities.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and inventory as needed.
