Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a diligent janitor to keep office spaces, break rooms, bathrooms, yard areas, parking lots, warehouse and dock areas clean and orderly. You will perform heavy cleaning, maintain grounds, and ensure sanitation across facilities.

You will follow written or verbal instructions, comply with OSHA safety rules, and work independently. The role may include overtime, and occasional cleaning of trailers or railcars as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or at least one year related work experience.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and safety rules.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and janitorial techniques.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe chemical use.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy cleaning duties (floors, rugs, walls, glass) and remove rubbish.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds and notify management of repairs.
• Ensure pest control systems operate effectively; report problems to supervisor.
