Job summary

Bunzl Safety - Piperton, TN seeks a Cleaner/Porter to maintain a clean, safe warehouse and support facilities operations. Expect routine cleaning across warehouse, production, and common areas while assisting with waste management and break room upkeep.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Remove cardboard, packaging materials, and other debris from warehouse and production areas.
• Operate baling equipment safely and efficiently to process recyclable materials.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain clean and fully stocked employee restrooms.
• Clean and maintain break rooms and common areas daily.
• Operate floor sweepers and other cleaning equipment as needed.
• Assist with manual loading and unloading of materials, pallets, and trucks.
• Support warehouse housekeeping initiatives and facility improvement efforts.
• Follow all company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and professional work environment.
