Job summary

Scott Electric Company in Crafton, PA is seeking a dependable Warehouse Checker to verify outgoing orders in our electrical wholesale warehouse, ensuring product, quantity, and documentation accuracy before shipment.

You will work Monday-Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with overtime, use WMS, RF scanners, and ERP systems, and contribute to safe, organized staging and on-time deliveries. Prior warehouse experience and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in electrical wholesale or industrial supply.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read invoices, part numbers, and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Verify picked orders against sales invoices, packing slips, or pick tickets.
• Confirm correct product descriptions, part numbers, quantities, and specifications (e.g., voltage, amperage, wire gauge, breaker type, etc.).
• Inspect materials for damage, defects, or missing components before shipment.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for delivery or customer pickup.
• Check special orders and backorders for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate discrepancies or shortages to warehouse staff and supervisors immediately.
• Assist in maintaining organized staging areas for outbound shipments.
• Follow all company safety procedures, especially when handling electrical materials and warehouse equipment.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or ERP software to confirm order accuracy.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.

Scott Electric Company has a current opening at our Crafton, PA branch for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Checker to join our electrical distribution team (Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:00 PM +OT).

Job Summary
