Job summary

Iberia Foods is seeking a warehouse team member in Palmer, MA to inspect outgoing goods, verify packing accuracy, and ensure correct items are shipped. You will handle packing, scan and document shipments, and assist cycle counts and inventories.

The role requires following safety procedures, coordinating with warehouse staff, and reporting issues promptly. Physical work with forklifts and scanners may be involved; training and certification may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify the quantity, quality, and condition of the outgoing goods.
• Check shipping documents against physical items (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
• Document discrepancies such as shortages, damages, or excess items.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure correct items are picked and packed for shipping.
• Assist with periodic cycle counts and full physical inventories.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners (if certified).
• Follow all safety and security procedures in the warehouse.
• Report any irregularities or issues to the supervisor promptly.
