Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is seeking a Part-Time Cashier for their Highland Park warehouse. This role focuses on processing cash transactions, providing outstanding service to drivers, and balancing invoices. Ideal candidates will be friendly, detail-oriented, and have cash-handling experience. The schedule includes weekdays and occasional weekends.
Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is a growing statewide company seeking a Part-Time Cashier for our warehouse in Highland Park and Detroit.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a Cashier, you process all cash transactions and balance invoices with payments received from our drivers. You greet each driver warmly as you check them in, processing all cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Though you give each driver your full attention while assisting them, you are always aware of what's going on around you. You reconcile all monies collected to invoices delivered, balance all invoices with payments received, reconcile differences resulting from delivery errors, and prepare daily bank deposits. Work Schedule
This is a full-time position working at our Highland Park warehouse, occasionally Detroit, Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM until close of business. Occasional weekends may be required based on business needs and holiday schedules.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
The Cashier operates in a warehouse office environment sitting at a desk using standard office equipment. The employee may be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration where the noise level can be loud.
