Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Newnan, Georgia is hiring Temporary Full Time Warehouse Case Pickers to support food distribution across the facility.

Earn $18.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential with a Sunday-Thursday schedule; weekly pay is offered in a clean, safe environment focused on efficiency and accuracy. You will operate reach trucks and various forklifts, assist with loading and unloading, and handle packing, shipping, and related paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment with attention to detail and reliability.
• Must be punctual with good attendance and operate with initiative and accuracy.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
