NOTE: This position would be on-site at our Woodbury, MN location.

Job Summary

The Warehouse & Building Associate is a highly trusted professional who is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind shipping/receiving, processing, and storing inventory. They also ensure the maintenance of the building is kept up, including both internal as well as the external property. The associate will work closely with the Warehouse managers and corporate team to complete work that varies on a day-to-day basis.

Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)

• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
• Assist in Inventory counts
• Work with contractors on repairs, troubleshooting to keep things on budget
• Working with cleaning company to address issues if they arise
• Running for supplies/errands as needed
• Responding to late night calls if needed at the building (Fire, Burglar, power)
• Creating and organizing a detailed list of duties and tasks done daily, weekly, monthly, yearly
• Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules
• Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
• Setting up and take-down of events; these events are both inside and outside normal business hours
• Sidewalk clearing from snow and Trail maintenance
• Packing, labeling for shipment, Shipping equipment, supplies, as well as receive incoming shipments
• Assist internal customers with shipping/building requests
• Storing product and organizing warehouse
• Contractor negotiations, scheduling and overseeing work environment while in the building.
• Misc. items that include but are not limited to running vehicles for service, taking mascot uniforms for cleaning, lightbulb replacement, limited furniture repair, repair/paint walls as damage occurs

Strengths and Background

• 2+ years of experience in similar role
• Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 35 – 50 lbs.
• Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners and relevant software programs, such as warehouse management systems
• Be able to anticipate issues and address them before they become a bigger problem. (See something, say/do something)
• Honesty and trustworthiness with the ability to hold information confidential
• Ability to think on your feet as issues arise
• Ability to work alone or with little direction
• Special Engineer Boiler’s License Preferred
• Familiarity of JIRA ticketing system is a bonus

Hourly rate: $24.00 - $26.85 per hour
