Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking a Warehouse Builder in Chicago to assemble cargo for export flights, operate safely around a busy warehouse, and maximize space while avoiding damage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build cargo for export flights following procedures and priorities.
• Operate forklift and work in tight warehouse spaces with other activity.
• Maximize cargo space without damage and ensure aircraft specifications.
• Assist with tie-down and push out of completed air pallets.
• Organize warehouse areas, restock, and maintain clean, secure work area.
• Report incidents to supervisor and maintain security of cargo and equipment.
• Observe safety and attend to damaged or broken equipment as needed.

## Warehouse BuilderApply: Chicago, IL: Full time: Posted Today: R-112153**Job Description:****Duties and responsibilities**The work of a Warehouse Builder includes but is not limited to: * Follow standard operating procedures and shipment priorities to build cargo for export flights.* Forklift experience and ability to work in tight areas with other activity around warehouse.* Demonstrate attention to detail and ensure all shipments are properly built for aircraft specifications while maximizing cargo space without damage.* Assist with tie-down and push out of completed air pallets.* Organization of warehouse areas: reposition cargo, repacking nets, restocking plastic, skids, shrink wrap, and locks.* Maintain security of the cargo and company’s equipment. Observe that cargo has not been tampered with or that pilferage has taken place.
