Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Breakpack) for a full-time day shift in our distribution center. You will select products, pack totes, cut cases, and stock merchandise to help meet daily goals in a fast-paced environment.

This position offers Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 3–8 weeks of on-the-job training. A background check and drug screen are required. Candidates must lift up to 70 lbs and work in a hot environment at times.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs by hand.
• Able to stand and move for entire shift.
• Basic English reading and writing skills; basic math and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and prep merchandise, stock product, and move full totes and cases onto conveyor belt.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Stack empty pallets in return bays up to eight pallets high.
• Use pallet pulling hook to retrieve stuck pallets (up to 50 lbs).
• Operate tools and equipment such as RF scanners, Pick to Voice/Cart technology, computer terminal, and other facility-specific tools.
• Work in temperatures up to 95 degrees F at upper levels during summer; handle seasonal variations.
• Assist in other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
