PepsiCo Inc. in Grimes, IA is seeking a warehouse associate to build and load pallets for bulk and route trucks. You’ll hand build pallets, use an order system, and move product with a forklift or power pallet jack.

This full-time role involves standing, lifting, and daily safety focus, with weekends and non-traditional hours. On-the-job training and a high-energy environment accompany competitive pay and benefits.

Quick Look

• Pay: $27.39 per hour
• Location: Grimes, IA
• Work Days: Monday- Friday
• Start Time: 12:00pm
• End Time: 2nd shift / 8:30pm

Build and load pallets of beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina to keep communities supplied safely, accurately, and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Hand build pallets of product for bulk and route trucks, following warehouse instructions and load sheets
• Use an electronic order system or order sheets to ensure loading accuracy for outgoing trucks and unloading for incoming trucks
• Operate a forklift and/or power pallet jack to move product to picking areas and build pallets/loads as assigned
• Wrap and secure pallets/loads when finished to maintain stability for transport
• Stage pallets and/or load product into trailers and trucks when ready, including handling returned pallets/plastic flats
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items and turn in paperwork for check before loading
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper housekeeping standards in your work area

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Position requires you to perform physical labor (with or without accomodation)
• Position requires non-traditional shifts and weekend work
• Position may require you to use a forklift or become forklift certified
