Job summary

The team uses handheld devices to scan and verify orders in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks and power equipment, maintaining safety, and keeping the facility clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Six months of warehouse experience in a similar position strongly preferred.
• Six months of experience operating an electric pallet jack.
• Experience operating a cherry picker, forklift, and other power equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hourly performance goals.
• Receive daily assigned orders with preloaded customer items.
• Scan and verify quantity, size, and type using company technology.
• Transport completed orders to quality control for verification.
• Ensure all loads are stacked, secured, and stable.
• Stage confirmed pallets and verify pallets that failed QC audit.
• Replenish products within a location using company technology and equipment.
• Perform and submit daily power equipment checklist to the manager.
• Report any safety or mechanical problems with power equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly warehouse environment.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions

• Able to stack, unstack and relocate large amounts of product throughout the day
• Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs) with some overhead lifting required
• Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision and the ability to judge distance
