Job summary

K&M Tire in Detroit is seeking a Warehouse Backup Driver to support unloading/loading trucks and pulling and stocking tires. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager or Team Leader and emphasizes safety and accuracy in handling tires and products.

Responsibilities include unloading trailers, verifying product, and maintaining organized inventory. The position runs Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits after probation.

Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailers and assist loader for semi-trailers and route trucks.
• Verify, pull/pick, and put-away tires/products using daily tools.
• Keep tires/products in designated locations with tags out and restocked as needed.
• Maintain safe work practices and proper use of safety equipment.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Load multi-warehouse transfer trucks.
• Perform duties of Route Truck Driver I as needed.
• Support Warehouse Manager’s decisions and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Uphold K&M values and promote from within when possible.
