Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Unloader at our Aberdeen, MD facility. You will be part of a fast-paced team, receiving product, breaking down pallets, and moving merchandise to the correct aisles using forklifts and pallet jacks.

The role offers full-time hours, a 7:00 PM start, and pay of $25 per hour with benefits from day 1, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
• Team-oriented with a passion for helping others and community impact.
• Willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

Responsibilities

• Receive product, record dates, and break down pallets according to receiving procedures.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Move pallets from the dock to correct aisles and maintain pace to prevent backlog.
• Inspect equipment and complete required forms; occasional lifting of 1–60 lbs.

Position Overview

As a Warehouse Unloader, you’ll be part of a productive team, tasked with keeping the warehouse stocked with product for our customers. This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay active.

• $25 per hour (entered by recruiter)
• FT: Monday thru Friday with a 7:00 PM start until finished
• Aberdeen, MD 21001

You will contribute by:

• Receiving product, recording code dates & breaking down pallets of product according to appropriate receiving procedures
• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Maneuvering pallets of product from the dock to correct aisles
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product
• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
