Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, is a leading electrical distributor. We seek a Warehouse Associate/Back-Up Driver to ensure accurate receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and general warehouse maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Capable of operating warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check, pack, and ship orders from small boxes to pallets.
• Receive, store, and verify inventory ensuring quality and quantity.
• Load/unload materials, operate safety equipment and forklifts.
• Drive company trucks with safe, compliant driving practices.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and record damaged materials.

We have a great opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Associate/Back-Up Driver to join our team! You will ensure products get where they need to be by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting and assistance with general maintenance of the warehouse.

Shift: 8 AM- 5 PM, M-F.

Starting Rate: $20-$22 per hour (based on experience)

We are looking for associates who:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Pick, check, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Load, unload, and move materials and supplies using safety equipment, hand trucks, and front-end loaders/forklifts.
• Receive, check in and store inventory in a safe manner and ensuring the quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Record damaged or defective materials

What you bring:

• Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacket, and wire cutting machine. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to continuously lift materials up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation; including unloading materials from a vehicle.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
