Job summary

Sigma Alimentos is seeking a Warehouse Auxiliary for a temporary role in Illinois. Responsibilities include moving products with pallet jacks and forklifts, unloading trucks, and organizing inventory in a cold environment.

You will assist with order staging, route-based loading, and inventory reconciliation while maintaining safety and documentation standards. Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience and fluency in Spanish are required.

Responsibilities

Participate in ensuring the organized and productive flow of warehouse operations, to include but not limited to, load and unload trucks, organize and rotate inventory, monitor cooler temperatures, clean warehouse and assist inventory reconciliation in a high volume distribution center.

Job Descrition

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for a full shift of at least 8 hours.
• Able to climb up/down, in/out of truck body.
• Can repeatedly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck.
• Can repeatedly turn, twist, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds.
• Able to repeatedly move 75 pound load on a cart/hand-truck without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in English
• Experience and certification with materials handling equipment, including but not limited to, pallet jack and forklift
• Experience in food products

Minimum Qualifications

• High School or equivalent
• 2 years warehouse experience
• Fluent in Spanish

Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34˚ F for prolonged periods of time.
