Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Lancaster, Texas is seeking a Permanent Full Time Night Shift Warehouse AGV Technician. The role involves working with state-of-the-art AGV equipment in a safety-focused facility with beverages handled.

You will operate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated systems and forklifts, with a schedule of 6pm–6am Wednesday-Saturday. Offering benefits from day one, on-the-job training, and a discussion of pay including overtime and shift differential, this role emphasizes

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of 480V and pneumatic equipment intermediate level is required.
• Must have working knowledge of CMMS/equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems.
• Demonstrated independent problem-solving capability.
• Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software to enhance existing programs (Allen Bradley, Ignition, Wonderware preferred).
• Understand 24VDC control systems, sensors (photoelectric & proximity).
• Experience with programming/troubleshooting servo and stepper motors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate.
• Utilize CMMS to keep department organized and communicate with plant management.
• Maintain spare parts inventories consistent with procedures.
• Contribute to maintenance policy and SOP improvements.
• Keep maintenance area clean and tour-ready; ensure GMP compliance.
• Establish work schedules that meet PM program demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in safety and Lean programs; support Ryder culture.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Night Shift Warehouse AGV Technician in Lancaster, Texas

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $31-$36 per hour depending on experience.


• Additional Pay: $1/hour shift differential for working overnight


• Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday 6pm-6am night shift

• Ability to troubleshoot/program Bar Code Scanners and other Vision Systems, Specifically Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence, etc. intermediate required.


• Warehouse Maintenance safety procedures to include put not limited to: Lock Out Tag Out, Fall Restraint, and Forklift/MHE Operational Safety intermediate required.


• Knowledge of operating MHE to include by not limited to: Forklift, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, etc. intermediate required.


• Ability to work independently in a safe manner including working at heights.

• Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate


• Utilizes the computerized maintenance management systems to their fullest potential as a tool to keep the department organized and as a communication tool to the plant and corporate management


• Maintain and insure spare parts inventories and/or consignment inventories are being maintained consistent with procedures


• Participate in the continual development and improvement of maintenance policies, procedures and standard operating procedures for the facility


• Ensure a clean and organized maintenance area. Facility always tour ready


• Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)


• Establishes work schedules that meet the demands of operating and PM programs


• Performs other duties as assigned


• Actively participate in safety and Lean programs; support the Ryder culture.
