Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Read production schedules, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
2. Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
3. Place materials on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences.
4. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production workers or designated locations.
5. Assemble orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; convey to packing or shipping departments.
6. Mark materials with identifying information.
7. Open bales, crates, and other containers.
8. Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
9. Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
10. Arrange stock parts for assembly by other workers.
11. Use computer to enter records.
12. Compile worksheets or tickets.
13. Complete requisition forms for supplies.
14. Prepare parcels for mailing.
15. Maintain inventory records.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.
17. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
18. Prioritize safety and abide by company policies, including proper handling and safety procedures with equipment and tools.
