  • Schedule: Full-time schedule, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Flexible start time for morning/day shift. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior dock receiving experience required.
  • Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
  • Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute to production workers or assembly lines.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing or shipping departments.
  • Mark materials with identifying information.
  • Open bales, crates, and containers.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly.
  • Use computer to enter records.
  • Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
  • Drive vehicle to transport stored items or pick up items.
  • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Maintain inventory records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
  • Commit to personal and others' safety.
  • Follow all company policies, including the use of gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning slicers; oven mitts or gloves when handling hot pans; slip-resistant shoes; and proper lifting techniques.
