Job Opening: Warehouse Attendant at Canteen

• We are hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Attendant position.
• Location: Canteen - 3112 Horseshoe Lane, Charlotte, NC 28208. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior retail, inventory management, or customer service experience required.
• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
2. Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
3. Place materials on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
4. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production or shipping departments.
5. Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare for shipping.
6. Mark materials with identifying information.
7. Open bales, crates, and containers.
8. Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
9. Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure standards are met.
10. Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly.
11. Use computer systems to enter records.
12. Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
13. Drive vehicles to transport or pick up items.
14. Complete requisition forms for supplies.
15. Prepare parcels for mailing.
16. Maintain accurate inventory records.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.
18. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
19. Prioritize safety for yourself and others, abiding by all company policies, including the use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
