Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to specific sequences.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production or shipping.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare for shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and containers.
• Record received or distributed materials.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure standards are met.
• Arrange stock parts for assembly.
• Use computer systems to enter records.
• Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
• Drive vehicle to transport or pick up items.
• Complete requisition forms for supplies.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and others.
• Follow all company policies, including safety procedures for handling knives, hot pans, and proper lifting techniques.
