Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items, and distribute to production workers or the assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; convey to packing or shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and containers.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure standards are met.
• Arrange stock parts for assembly.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
• Drive vehicle to transport or pick up items.
• Complete requisition forms for supplies.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Commit to safety and abide by company policies, including the use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
