• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Arrange stock parts for assembly by workers.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Ensure proper presentation and temperature maintenance; follow HACCP standards.
• Maintain commitment to safety.

Job Summary

This position is a seasonal, event‑based role, with a primary duration from April to September.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.


• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.


• Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.


• Fill requisition orders or requests for materials & products to food service outlets.


• Mark materials with identifying information.


• Open bales, crates and other containers.


• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.


• Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.


• Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.


• Use computer to enter records.


• Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.


• Maintain inventory records.


• Perform other duties as assigned.


• Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.


• Maintain personal commitment to safety of self and others.


• Abide by Company policies and procedures, including:
  
  
  1. Use medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
  
  
  2. Use oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
  
  
  3. Use slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
