Job summary

Engineered Materials Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Attendant with strong receiving and computer skills to support our logistics team in Attleboro, MA. You will prepare and package materials for shipment, verify shipments against bills of lading, and assist in loading and unloading trucks.

This role requires a High School diploma, prior warehouse experience, and proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle/Maximo.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient computer skills; Oracle/Maximo experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders or requisitions for materials by locating, retrieving, unpackaging and delivering materials to plant locations.
• Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records.
• Check for shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and movement of materials to storage locations.
• Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in the area.
• Receive materials, equipment, merchandise and similar items in a storeroom or warehouse.
• Store items in high/low bay racks, in bins or on the floor; mark or tag items for ID.
• Complete Oracle / Maximo inventory and other ERP transactions.
• Safely operate forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Prepare records of goods shipped by making bills of lading, posting weight and shipping charges and maintaining shipping records.
• Wear all required PPE at all times.
• Other duties as required.

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Warehouse Attendant with computer experience and a strong background in receiving to join our team! This role is essential in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly.

Position Summary:

Prepare/package materials for shipment to outside processing or customers. Assist in other areas in logistics.

• Fill orders or requisitions for materials by locating, retrieving, unpackaging and kitting or delivering materials to plant locations.
• Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records.
• Check for shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and movement of materials to storage locations.
• Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in the area.
• Receive materials, equipment, merchandise and similar items in a storeroom or warehouse.
• Store items in high/low bay racks, in bins or on the floor. Includes marking or tagging items for identification.
• Complete Oracle / Maximo inventory and other ERP transactions.
• Safely operate a fork lift truck, overhead crane or other material handling equipment
• Prepare records of goods shipped by making bills of lading, posting weight and shipping charges and maintaining shipping records
• Wear all required PPE at all times.
• Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• High School or Equivalency Diploma
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Proficient computer skills, Oracle experience a plus
